Day 3 pm: We spent the afternoon walking.............all afternoon! After catching the higher ferry across to Kingswear we walked along the Dart Valley Trail 4.5 miles to Greenaway, hoping to catch a ferry back to Dartmouth! WRONG.........no ferries on Easter Sunday!!!! We then caught the water taxi across the river Dart to the little village of Dittisham, again hoping to catch a ferry back to Dartmouth from that side........WRONG......all ferries fully booked for the rest of the day!!! The 5 mile walk back to Dartmouth seemed pretty daunting (to me anyway) but we did it. We came across some stunning views and creeks which made it all worthwhile!
