Happy 2008 Camping!

Yes, I know it's February already but as this is the first blog entry of the year I wanted to wish everyone a very Happy New Year!

The camping year has started very early for us this year. Our first planned/booked trip was Easter but as February seemed to be non-stop sunshine we decided to sneak a little trip away. We didn't want to travel too far so we agreed on a 2-night stop at the Caravan Club site in Looe. We've stayed there before so knew where it was and what it was like.

The trip didn't actually get off to the best of starts!!! We were pulling off our drive to head for Looe on the Friday afternoon and Michael turned left, a second or so before he normally does, and caught the rear end of the motorhome on our wall!!! It's not major damage but it has proved to be a pain getting it fixed in good old Cornwall. Anyway, the good news is that we've found a local guy who can do it in March and for a reasonable price, so by the time we go away for Easter she'll be sorted (we hope!).

I am happy to report that the 'offending wall' no longer lives on our drive!!!!
