South Wales & Somerset September 2008 - Day 7: Glastonbury (The Old Oaks campsite)

After walking back from Glastonbury back along the muddy track, one of us had a very muddy belly so had to have a shower!!! The site provides not only a dog walk but a dog exercise area and a doggie shower! Paddy didn't think much of it to begin with but once he was being showered off he didn't seem to mind too much! What great facilities eh?

Our hard standing pitch had a grass entrance to it, which was pretty boggy, so the site owners had provided us with our own 'drive-way', so we didn't get stuck pulling on and off our pitch!

We had another brilliant holiday in our camper. We all thoroughly enjoyed the fresh air and the walks. Considering the weather that most people had had to endure during a horrible August we consider ourselves extremely lucky for our almost dry week!

Roll on October and our next planned trip away!

Excellent blog entry Sharon and great photos especially of Paddy. A lot of the photos are familiar to me as we have been to most of those places especially the Brec & Mon canal.
