South Wales & Somerset September 2008 - Day 7 - Glastonbury Tor & Town

After only having one night in Cheddar, we packed up again on Friday morning to head to Shepton Mallett for the Motorhome Show. We spent the morning there dreaming of RV's and having enough space to park one at home!!!

After lunch in the camper, in the show car park (!), we headed for our last site. Heaven on Earth as I now call it - The Old Oaks campsite in Glastonbury. A adults only site (hence the reference to Heaven!) just 3/4 of a mile from Glastonbury Tor.

The sun was shining for us again so once pitched up we headed up the muddy track to the Tor. Having done the trek up to the actual Tor itself previously we decided to head into the town instead. It was busy, probably because the sun was out?!
