It's great to be back and camping again. After a dreadful start to the year with Michael's accident at work resulting in him having a knee op (torn knee cartilage) he's back on his feet again and we are happy campers!!!

We thought that we may have to cancel our first booked trip of the year but someone was on our side and Michael was driving again just 10 days before our trip. Thankfully my driving services were not called upon in the camper!!!! :o)

The weather leading up to our weekend away was fantastic (for March!) so I decided to take some extra time off work and we headed up to the North Somerset coast on Thursday lunchtime. We hadn't booked a site but had phoned around to see who was open. We ended up at Brean Sands and stayed on Northam Farm campsite. A massive site (we certainly wouldn't stay there 'in season') with good camping facilities. That evening was spent wandering around Brean, having fish & chips on the beach (with hardly a soul in sight) and watching the sunset on site.
