Dartmouth - July 2009 - arrival on site

After a glorious June, July arrived with a promise of a long warm summer. Sadly it wasn't to be. Wet, wet, wet would be a great description unfortunately.

Our July trip was to South Devon and the pretty town of Dartmouth. We had booked a 4-day long weekend at Little Cotton Caravan Park, that sits about 1.5 miles outside the town on the hill.

When we left home at 9:30am on the Friday morning it was tipping down. The rain continued until be got the other side of Plymouth.

On arrival at Little Cotton the sun came so we pitched up and caught the park and ride bus down to the town for a picnic lunch sat on the quayside. We then headed back to the camper where we spent the evening chilling out.
