Dartmouth - July 2009 - Sunday pm - The Tornado steam train!
Whilst wandering along the quayside we heard the now familiar sound of the steam train arriving into the station at Kingwear. Looking across the water we discovered that it was the Tornado a newly built steam train, featured on Top Gear last month.
The weather was, once again, closing in so we headed back up to the campsite on the bus.
We had decided to travel home Sunday night instead of joining all the Monday morning work traffic, so we had a snack for our tea, packed up and headed home.
Roll on August and Exmoor!!!

Hi Sharon

Sharon,
sounds like you had a great visit to Dartmouth - another place we've not been to (yet!). We were down in Lynton early July and endured the rain, gave you a wave as we drove past Bude down to Watergate bay, Cornwall where the sun shone.
Great pics as usual
Jane
Saw the link to your blog on UK Campsite and glad I had a look, great photo's and especially love the clips of Paddy!

It was lovely looking through your blog - looking at your picture bought back many happy memories of when we lived in Plymouth and traveled around the coast. I love Dartmouth. We were last in Plymouth Oct 2008 for a reunion - Lesley
