September 2009 - Day 8 - Cheddar

Friday was once again pack-up day. We headed off early morning on our journey to our final campsite in Cheddar. We stopped and had a picnic lunch on the way South, near Abergavenny.

Once in Cheddar we pitched up and spent the afternoon and early evening enjoying the delights of the village and its friendly inns!!!

This was our final night camping. We did however spend the Saturday at the South West Motorhome Show at Shepton Mallet. There were lots of new and used motorhomes on offer but nothing caught our eye!

Next trip is in October so not long to wait!!! :o)

Hi Sharon
Great post brings back memories for me. We had our boat moored at Tewkesbury for 6 years I have some of the same photos as you have at Tewkesbury and Barmouth.
Hey we went to the Shepton Show on Saturday and as like you nothing we would change for at the moment.
Bought some nice wheel trims for the M/H and a pair of windscreen wipers. God it was hot there wasn't it had to carry Jack some of the time because of the crowds and the heat.
Got home around 4pm today Saturday.

Hi Sharon

just catching up on my favourite blogs! Love all the pics of Wales, somewhere we have not been to much in our MH, in fact we have only been the once! I would love to go to Barmouth, saw it on a walking programme once and thought how nice it looked.
My Sept trip was to the Western Highlands with my sister, 2 weeks travelling in her VW camper, would well recommend the long drive.
Hope your October trip goes well, trying to persuade OH that next weekend would be a good time to go away ;)
