Christmas in St Ives 2009 - Boxing Day
Our last day on site. We awoke to the sound of heavy rain and hale on the camper roof - the sound of camping!!!!
The weather was very changeable all day long.
We did however manage to walk down into St Ives without getting wet,via Porthmeor beach again, where the brave, or stupid, surfers were enjoying their Boxing Day surf! We had a lovely pub lunch overlooking the harbour in the Lifeboat Inn.
We went back down into town that evening to watch the football in the Lifeboat Inn, this time we got a soaking on the way back to the campsite!!!!
Well, we can honestly say that this was one of the best Christmases we've had and we are looking forward to doing the same next year!
Happy New Year to all our 'avid' readers! Here's to more camping in 2010!

Sharon,
happy new year! (thanks for visiting my blog). Good to see you had a great time in St Ives, very envious. My sister took her VW camper up to Chatsworth on Christmas Eve so I had a drive up the Sunday after Christmas for lunch and present swopping, only 45mins away. I am working on convincing Paul it would be a good idea to go away between Christmas and New Year next year. xx
Hi Sharon Michael & Paddy
Great photos so glad you had such a good time in Cornwall.
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL.
All the best
Maureen & Bernard
