Motorhome Tales

Loving life on the road - although it's part time (for now!).

Day 14: Our last day! We woke to warm sunshine. After breakfast we walked into Moreton-in-the-Marsh for a wander around the town before catching the bus to Bourton-on-the-Water. A lovely, warm, Cotswold town with a river running through it. Full of little shops, tea-rooms, cafe-gardens and pubs - and all doggie friendly. We had lunch in a riverside pub, then an ice-cream whilst sat along the river before catching our bus back to Moreton. We then spent the evening enjoying the sunshine, wearing Paddy out (finally) and enjoying the peace of the Cotswolds!

After travelling over 1100 miles, and seeing things we never thought we would, we came home on Saturday. We had an absolutely fantastic holiday and cannot wait to hit the road again!!!!

what a lovely blog which just epitomises what we love about motorhoming. We aquired our motorhome last autumn its a short american rv so not quite as user friendly as yours but still great fun. We too went to Scotland & the Lake district & what a good idea to hire a car as some of the roads are a bit frightening. We take our dog who loves every minute of his travels
