Easter - April 2010 - Day 3 - Wells
Saturday morning was dry (to start with) following another night of heavy rain and hail! As you can see Paddy wasn't too keen on getting out of bed!!!!
After breakfast we walked into Cheddar to catch the bus into the small cathedral city of Wells. On arrival in Wells, it started raining again so we headed for the traditional Saturday market situated near the cathedral.
We then walked around the front of the cathedral. Even in the rain it looked majestic.

Hi Sharon, love the pics of Wells cathedral. Do they take dogs on the buses in Somerset? I stayed at the CC & C site in Hereford last year but the down side was that dogs were not allowed on public transport :(

They certainly do Jane. We've never had any problems with Paddy going on the bus. Some have charged for him but most have been free (like the one to Wells). He loves travelling on buses too - he gets loads of attention and it sends him to sleep!
