Day 2: After a hearty breakfast on Sunday morning,in the camper, we decided to walk to Sidmouth via the coastal path and Salcombe Hill. The start of the path took us up through woods that seemed to be teeming with wildlife. At the top of Salcombe Hill you get the most fantastic view of Sidmouth....and some idea of how steep the return walk would be!!! Once down in Sidmouth we explored the seafront area via the promenade and town. We stopped for lunch in one of the town's oldest pubs......the Old Ship Inn.......and after a wonderful Sunday roast we headed back up the hill to Salcombe Regis.
