May 2008: Day 5 - Caen Hill Lock Flight, Devizes

On the way into Devizes is the Caen Hill Lock Flight.......a 'collection' of 29 locks that takes barges up/down the hill. Apparently it can take a whole day for a barge to pass through Caen Hill. At the top was a great little tearoom where we stopped for a ploughmans lunch and a much needed brew!
