Exmoor - April 2008 - Day 3:

Before heading home we packed up and walked Paddy in Dulverton, along the little stream, past the pretty little cottages, up along the Church Walk and back through the town. Dulverton is full of olde worlde buildings including the Pharmacy and the Town Hall.

Another great camping weekend. The beauty of Dulverton for us is that in 1.5 hours we were home!

A highly recommended site. We will be back.....again and again!

Exmoor - April 2008 - Day 2 (pm):

After getting warm and dry we mooched around the pretty little town of Dulverton (just 200 yards from the campsite). The sun had typically come out and it was now dry! We had a lovely lunch in one of the pretty little tearooms in town and then a wander along the River Barle, before heading back to the camper for a relaxing afternoon armed with newspapers, magazines and the all important camper food...........chocolate!

Exmoor - April 2008 - Day 2 (am):

We got up to lovely sunshine on Saturday morning (the calm before the storm?), so decided to walk along the River Barle to Tarr Steps, 6 miles each way. So after breakfast we packed the waterproofs and headed out of the site! About a mile or so into our trek the heavens opened.......and it didn't stop. After about an hour, and soaked through to the skin, we decided to head back to the campsite so we could all get dry. Paddy was less than impressed with being dried with..............the hairdryer!!!!

Exmoor - April 2008 - Day 1:

Our latest trip was a long weekend on Exmoor. We stayed on the Caravan Club site at Exmoor House. A heavenly site for motorhomers - with everything right on your doorstep!!!

We arrived late Friday afternoon to warm'ish sunshine. We were greeted by the very friendly wardens who told us to choose a pitch and away we went. We pitched up and headed straight for the pub! The Bridge Inn at Dulverton. A VERY doggie friendly pub serving good local food and even better cider!!!!

We did manage to explore a small part of Dulverton in what was left of the daylight.......once we'd left the pub!
